Here’s Some Screenshots of Market Samurai In Action
This First Market Samurai screenshot shows the initial startup screen. It is here that you are prompted to either open an existing project or to start a new one.
For the purpose of this site, I chose to start a new project with the very general keyword “car” (this is a very simple example). Just click the Create button and Market Samurai will set up your project for you.
Once your project is set up, you will have options as to what you would like to do- we will be choosing keyword research, although Market Samurai does so much more.
After entering a CAPTCHA, Market Samurai will return the results of the initial keyword research. In this case, there are 163 results but we could have had many more by selecting other options. At the bottom right of Market Samurai is the option to Analyze Keywords, which is where you will be able to evaluate how much competition you have for your keyword and other factors crucial to choosing/ finding a good keyword.
Once you have selected Analyze Keywords, you will see relevant data such as how many competitors you have, monthly trends (for example, the phrase “halloween costumes” gets lots of searches, but tends to peak in October), and Microsoft’s Online Commercial Intent score (how likely someone typing in a given keyword is to buy- the higher the number, the better).
Notice that the keyword “car” has a lot of competition- this is used only as an example- more focused keywords can be found with Market Samurai related to cars if you wish.
This last screenshot shows Market Samurai’s Competition Module, which gives you a color coded image to show you the actual strength of your competition. A lot of red means that not only is there a lot of competition, but that it’s also particularly strong competition. You can see that this is the case with the keyword “car”. A more focused keyword would likely not be this strong.
If it looks like there’s a lot to Market Samurai, there is. Don’t be intimidated by all the buttons and features- they are explained in full in the training videos and customer service is quick and thorough should you need to speak with them.
Give Market Samurai a try and you will see that keyword research can be easy and effective.
Having Trouble With Keyword Research?
I had a real hard time learning keyword research before I found Market Samurai.
In fact, it actually frustrated me to the point that I wanted to quit.
But, instead, I decided to make myself a promise: I will not only learn keyword research, I will Master it.
This is the same tack I’ve taken in learning each step of affiliate marketing. Which means I’ve tried just about everything under the sun (and have the receipts to prove it).
Below, you will find a summary of my experience with some of the keyword tools available on the market today.

Google has their own free keyword tool, and it’s handy as a reference. I give it an A for effort.
Wealthy Affiliate offers a keyword tool. I give it a B-.
Micro Niche Finder is effective and easy to use. I give it an A-.
Market Samurai is the most effective keyword tool, offering more than just a keyword tool. I give it an A+.
Market Samurai will transform your keyword research efforts and streamline the process, saving you lots of time and aggravation.
Market Samurai will also pull information about what domains are available, saving you time in checking manually.
Market Samurai also has what they call The Dojo. This is where the most detailed training on using the program is located. The training videos are really first class and thorough.
It also updates frequently with useful changes that increase productivity and don’t need you to restart your computer.
Using a MAC? No problem. Market Samurai is cross-platform and works seamlessly with both Windows and OSX.
